Koalasize For You! \ Bunjil Place.

Created as a collaborative activation for Rosie Deacon’s exhibition at Bunjil Place Koalasize For You! is an irreverent piece of digital placemaking. Rosie’s 1980s-inspired aerobic performances - filmed by Dara Gill - were transformed into a large-scale, interactive public experience.

I developed the real-time digital processing and augmented reality systems that power the Bunjil Place outdoor screen. By integrating live camera feeds with bespoke digital effects, I created a system where the audience is instantly projected into the dance routine alongside the koala characters. The project was about bridging the gap between performance art and the public, using responsive media to turn a massive outdoor screen into a communal, playful space for interaction.
